Midlands Airport Parking Ltd's Terms and Conditions.
All vehicles are parked at Midlands Parking Ltd at the customer’s OWN RISK.
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before handing over your key. They apply to direct bookings, or where a booking is made through a third party or that acts as our agent unless stated otherwise.
Customer's Responsibility
- It is the customer's responsibility to make sure that their vehicle is road worthy and has a valid M.O.T and holds road tax. Any fines or liabilities incurred to EMA Parking because of your failure in this regard will be your responsibility.
- Customers must make sure that the vehicle is in a legal and roadworthy condition for driving on public roads.
- Comply with any instructions or advice given by authorised persons or signage with regard to making available your car for video inspection, routes which are to be followed to the designated drop-off area and EMA airport parking bays which are to be used.
- Hand your vehicle key and the car park entry token issued at the barrier to our representative. Please remove house keys etc. Tell us about any non-standard vehicle immobiliser or security features.
- No toxic, dangerous or illegal substances including but not limited to drugs, alcohol, gasoline or other dangerous items are to be left in the vehicle while in the responsibility of Midlands Parking.
- If for any reason, your vehicle does not start when you return to pick it up, you are responsible for calling your road service provider to handle the issue.
- In case of flat batteries Midlands Parking only on customer`s discretion will once try to start it with a starter pack and in this case any damage caused will be entirely customer`s responsibility.
- It is your responsibility to notify the EMA Parking representative at the terminal when you arrive of any modifications, immobilisers, or alarms that may affect the way in which we handle your vehicle.
- As soon as you collect your luggage on your return, you must call our 24/7 Arrivals Hotline and notify us. We will meet you outside the terminal where we collected your car
- EMA Parking will charge a 10 pounds daily fee for any vehicle in extended stay where the customer failed to notify us of such need.
- In case of late arrival as stated on customer's paperwork/arranged with EMA Parking to reclaim their vehicle will be liable to pay a 10.00 pounds charge for every additional day parked. New days start from 00:30 (30 minutes past midnight).
Midlands Parking's Rights & Responsibility
- EMA Parking will take all reasonable care of your vehicle for the period you have booked and paid for, starting from when you give us your key.
- The only damage or claims that will be considered for are those which are reported to the EMA Parking representative at the time the car is returned to you. Wherever practicable we must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect the alleged damage before it is repaired: in any event you must send us photographic evidence of the damage. Copy of the video of your vehicle which we take when we first receive it can be made available to you at a cost of £30 which we will reimburse if your claim succeeds.
- If EMA Parking accepts liability for damage to your vehicle, then we may require that the repairs are undertaken by our own contractors or by contractors approved by us. Under no circumstances will we accept liability for the cost of repairs undertaken by third parties, arranged by them or by you, without our prior written approval. EMA Parking does not cover the cost of car hire, the cost of car hire will be your responsibility while the vehicle is in repairs.
- Our company will not accept liability for any mechanical or electrical malfunction to vehicles whilst in its custody. Nor will our company accept responsibility for damaged or punctured tyres or any scuffs or damage to steel or alloy road wheels.
- Midlands Parking is not liable for the loss or damage of property unless the cause is proven to be by legal negligence, breach of contract or default of contract on the part of the Midlands Parking's legal representatives and/or employees.
- Midlands Parking does not accept liability for damage to vehicles or other property arising from acts of nature or in case of theft. Nor will our company accept accountability for damaged windscreens or other glass, other than where it has been proved that it was caused by the company's negligence
- Personal property left in the vehicle is the sole and exclusive responsibility of the vehicle owner. EMA Parking accepts no responsibility if personal property is lost, stolen or damaged.
- EMA Parking holds neither responsibility nor liability for delays caused by any circumstances beyond its normal control.
- If you park for longer than the period you have booked for, we will charge you for the extra days at the full daily price that applies at the time and if you have not claimed your vehicle within a reasonable time after the end of your booked period or contacted us to agree a new arrangement we can regard your vehicle as having been abandoned. We may then make arrangements for its disposal to cover our costs (but we will take reasonable steps to contact you before doing so) in accordance with the Torts (Interference with Goods) Act 1977. There are no refunds for early returns.
- In case of minor damages or chips where it is not visible or in bad weather EMA Parking cannot be held accountable for any damage
- The company will not be liable for the vehicle damage that are covered with mud and any dirt where the body is not visible.
Cancellation of Bookings
- In case of cancellation subject to full refund providing EMA Parking meet and greet will charge 10 pounds, booking cancellation fee.
- These are only applicable to services that are cancellable (Saver/Value/Value Plus/Non-Flexible products cannot be cancelled or amended).
- A 50% refund will be provided if the cancellation is received between 24 and 48 hours before the start of the reservation. Any cancellations made within 24 hours are subject to full payment charge.
- The period for which the service has been booked, shall be deemed to commence at the collection date and time specified in the confirmation of the booking.
- Cancellations can be made by email or telephone. All cancellations shall be made Monday to Friday 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on the car park phone number. If you have booked us through a third party or any of our acting agents, cancellations/amendments should be made directly with them according to their set terms.
- Customers, who wish to shorten the length of the parking period on your confirmation receipt after the booking has begun, will still be charged the full amount that booked as per your confirmation.
- Payments are due at the time of reserving a space or in case of cash on collection all payments must be made when you drop off your vehicle with EMA Parking.
Privacy Policy
- EMA Parking is committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining the security of any personal information received from you.
- EMA Parking does not sell, rent, or exchange your personal information with any third-party for commercial or other reasons.
